At first, i didn't understand how it worked because it kept turning off. then i realized you just need to touch the string with the toy to reactivate it! it's ideal for cats—if they ignore it, it goes into standby, but as soon as they touch it, it starts moving again. my lazy cats absolutely love it! super easy to install, great value for money, and highly recommended!
They loved it and are even playing with it when it's turned off. It came with two supports and two tapes to stick in different places. But I put it up first without checking the height, and when I removed the tape, it left a little paint on the wall because it's quite strong. So it's good to check before sticking it up to make sure the spot is the right size for the toy to be at their height.
I wasn't expecting much, but to my great surprise, my cat really enjoys it. The double-sided tape holds up well so far, the hook works well, and the mechanical movement works great, even without activating it. The only thing is that the wire might be a bit short, depending on the height of your ceiling and whether your cat is naturally active or not. I recommend it!
A feathered lure that rises and dips on its own, for cats who were born to pounce.
Stick it to the top of a door frame, switch it on, and the Door Hunter does the rest. A small motor lifts and lowers a feathered lure on a stretchy cord, changing height so it never moves quite the same way twice. It's the closest thing to real prey that fits on a doorframe.
It gives your cat something to stalk, leap at and bat while you get on with your day, and it comes down just as easily when playtime is over.
Like any string toy, it's best used while you're around. Check the lure regularly and replace it if worn, and take the toy down when playtime ends so it's not left within reach unsupervised.
