When you request a sample or place an order, we collect your name, work email, company, company website, your brief, any suppression list you provide, and a record that you accepted our Terms. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We process professional information about people in their business roles, such as: name, job title, seniority, employer, work email address, business phone number, professional profile URL, work location, and information about their employer. We do not knowingly process sensitive personal data.

We obtain this information from licensed third-party business data providers and from publicly available professional sources, such as company websites and professional networking profiles.

We use this information to research and supply lists of relevant business contacts to our customers for business-to-business outreach. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: helping businesses find relevant commercial contacts. We limit the data to professional information, check it for accuracy, and honour objections promptly.

We share it with our customers, who receive it under terms requiring lawful use, prohibiting resale, and requiring them to honour opt-outs. Our customers are mainly based in the United States.

We keep working research data for up to 6 months, then delete or refresh it. We keep a minimal suppression record (such as your email address) indefinitely if you ask us not to process your data, so we can make sure we never include you again.

If you do not want your details included in our lists, email adrian@handpickedhq.com with the subject "Remove me". We will remove you, add you to our suppression list, and tell any customer who received your details within the last 6 months to delete them.

We use trusted providers to run our business, including hosting, email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe), email verification, and data providers. They process data only on our instructions or under their own privacy terms.

We are based in the UK and our customers and some service providers are in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your data, to object to our processing, and to data portability. California residents and residents of other US states with privacy laws may have similar rights, including the right to know what we hold and to request deletion. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights. To make a request, email adrian@handpickedhq.com. We will respond within one month.
